AlphaDogs is a Dallas supergroup of sorts, comprised of players from some of the top bands in the city – grounded in classic rock and roll, R & B and roots music, with thousands of collective hours of stage time. An AlphaDogs show will feature dancing, sing-alongs, high energy, and classic performances.
Michael Byron
Vocal, Guitar & Harmonica
Byron is the frontman and songwriter for AlphaDogs, and first came to local prominence in the power-pop Experts of pre-Deep Ellum fame. He brings his years of touring and stylistic mastery to AlphaDogs’ unique arrangements of classic songs and popular originals.
Jack Reed
Bass & Vocal
Jack Reed brings a broad range of musical styles to AlphaDogs – at home with classic rock, thumping rhythm and blues, jazz and blues. He can also be found holding down the bottom end for the Coppertones, Dallas' premier Motown/classic R&B combo.
David Falk
Drums & Vocal
David Falk has played with some of the premier roots-rock and rockabilly bands in the Dallas area – including Amy Crenshaw and Kim Lenz’ Jaguars and toured with singer-songwriter Max Stalling for three years.

The band is dedicated to bringing the best of British-Invasion era rock ‘n’ roll to area stages, in all its power and glory. AlphaDogs cover favorites like the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, the Who, Paul Revere and the Raiders, the Monkees and the Yardbirds among others, but also throw in a healthy dollup of 60’s-style original tunes –– check out the AUDIO section for samples!
